Getting to Clevedon

Sam:

We got to the airport in an uber. After going through security, we got some food at a Fionn McCools where we sat at the same spot as last time (when we went to Ireland). Me and Charlotte both ordered the mac and cheese and before it was really good in homemade, but this time it was Kraft dinner from a box.

Charlotte:

We went on the plane to London and arrived 6 and a half hours later. None of us slept very much, especially Mom. We got off the plane and then we went on a shuttle to the other terminal. Then we went on a train to the city of London and we walked through a mall to get to Victoria Coach Station.

Sam:

Most of us ate sausage rolls for breakfast but Charlotte ate a piece of pizza. We were supposed to hang around London for the day but we were so tired that we decided to get on a bus early to get to our house. The first bus took us to Bristol. From there we got another bus to go to Clevedon. When we first got to the bus stop we had to walk 2 blocks to get to our house.

Charlotte:

We had eggs and toast for dinner. It was really good. Thank goodness the homeowner left some food for us or we would have had to go out for dinner and we were too tired for that. Just before bed, I realised I couldn’t find my tablet. I had left it on one of the buses!

Sam:

When I wake up in the morning I looked at the clock in my room and say that we’ve all been sleeping for 15 hours! we woke up at 10:30! We had cereal for breakfast and then we want to get groceries. Dad had a hard time driving around because the steering wheel was on the other side of the car and we had to drive on the wrong side of the road. After bringing in the groceries, we had sandwiches for lunch.

After lunch we went out exploring for the day and went on the Clevedon Pier which had a large gazebo on the end of it. There was also a museum and a restaurant.

After we left the Pier we were walking along the shore and we saw a long trail so we decided to go on it.

As we were walking down the seashore and we saw some black raspberries growing wild along the path. My mom said they were safe to eat, so we started having some.

Charlotte:

And guess what? They were so delicious I even collected them in a bag. They were so yummy.

After that I went on the beach to play.

And when we were about to leave I realised that all the black raspberries were squished!!! And then we were looking everywhere for what squashed them and guess what – it was my mum’s beautiful purse! She was disappointed😞.

Then we walked home to have supper. We had stir-fry for supper and then we had this delicious raspberry trifle for dessert. Then we went to sleep.
